We-Design, formerly Plymouth Manufacturing, Inc., was founded in 1973 as a manufacturer of livestock equipment. In 2001, the company was purchased by a small group of local investors with deep roots in the agricultural industry. In fact, many of the ag products sold by We-Design today are a direct result of equipment that the owners needed for their own farm and ranch operations.
Since then, We-Design has expanded its steel manufacturing to include UN- and UL-approved intermediate bulk containers (IBC’s) that are used in oil and chemical industries nationally and internationally.
In 2001, We-Design started Homestead Electric, enabling the company to provide full-service capabilities on-site.
In some ways We-Design looks a lot different now than it did 30 years ago, but one thing that has not changed is the company’s commitment to providing its customers with high-quality, affordable products and unsurpassed service. Plymouth Industries is a medium-size manufacturing company but large enough to do the job right and yet, small enough to do it quickly.
Our central location in southeast Nebraska enables us to efficiently distribute products throughout the United States and allows us to retain an educated, dedicated labor force with a Midwestern work ethic. For more than 30 years, our skilled craftsmen have built the reputation of We-Design.
